Social Pictures: Well known faces line the red carpet for a special screening of Babylon

The Stella in Rathmines Dublin was a hive of activity as guests took to the red carpet for the special preview screening of the new American comedy-drama film, Babylon.

When was it?

Monday 16 January

Where was it?

The Stella, Rathmines, Dublin

Why were we there?

Plenty of familiar Irish faces were out in force to catch a special preview screening of Babylon ahead of its official release in Irish cinemas today (January 20).

The comedy-drama film features a cast that includes Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie, and traces the rise and fall of characters during the era of decadence and depravity in early Hollywood. An original epic set in 1920s Los Angeles, Babylon has an ensemble cast including Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li and Jean Smart. It’s a tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess.

Who was there?

Spotted taking to the red carpet on the night were Blathnaid Ni Chofaigh, Donal Skehan, Michelle McGrath, Bonnie Ryan, Pamela Laird, Lisa Cannon, Jake Carter and Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Maurizio Benenato, Triona McCarthy, Paul Ryder as well as Lorraine Keane, who was accompanied by her husband Peter Devlin and daughter Emelia Devlin.
