On Sunday September 18, we celebrated The 2022 IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards, Ireland’s annual hair and beauty Oscars.

The sold-out event welcomed hair and beauty influencers, therapists, make-up artists, brand owners, hair stylists and industry legends with Malfy and Fever-Tree cocktails and Kylie bubbles before dinner with Blossom Hill wine, and the awards. There was plenty of entertainment throughout the evening from The Event Band, and The Gardiner Brothers, followed by an afterparty at House, Leeson Street.

“The IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards is most certainly the most glittering, fun-filled night in our calendar, when we get to honour Ireland’s best hairdressers, therapists, MUAs and derms; not just for what they do, but also for how they make us feel, and help us face the world,” says Clodagh Edwards, CEO of IMAGE Media. “This year, we counted over half a million legitimate individual votes – our highest ever – while in one category (Best Brows), less than one per cent of votes separated our gold and silver winners. The power of the IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards extends beyond the night, however, and we love hearing how these awards can advance careers, boost businesses, and give individuals the opportunities and recognition they deserve.”

The best of Ireland’s hair and beauty creatives, professionals and entrepreneurs were awarded at the IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards 2022, sponsored by Fiat, Boots, Kerry Hanaphy, OGX, Platinum Hair Extensions, Spotlight Oral Care, VOYA and Shiseido. Bronze, silver and gold awards were presented to individuals in 15 categories, with our winners chosen by public vote over a six-week period, from a shortlist compiled by a panel of IMAGE editorial team members, which included nominations from readers of IMAGE.ie promoted through all IMAGE Media channels. The shortlist can be viewed here. Additionally, the IMAGE Business of Beauty Innovation Awards were awarded to brands in eight categories who have performed exceptionally well in the past year.

Check out the full list of winners from the night here, presented by IMAGE contributing editor Melanie Morris, and TV presenter and influencer Darren Kennedy, and see all the pictures from the evening in the gallery below. Thank you so much to all who joined us!
