When it comes to skincare, sometimes simple is best. Here, IMAGE's own Dominique McMullan shares her hero nighttime routine that keeps her skin fresh and bright – in just three easy steps.

There are few things I enjoy more at the end of a day than taking five quiet minutes for myself. The house is (finally) still, the kids are asleep, the emails have stopped pinging, and I get to wash off the day…literally and emotionally. I’ve tried more skincare routines over the years than I care to admit (my bathroom cabinet is basically a graveyard of half-finished serums and moisturisers), but somehow, I always end up coming back to the No7 Future Renew™. It feels like a deep exhale for my skin at the end of a long day. And boy, does it work.

The record-breaking Future Renew range launched two years ago and is based on a patent-pending super peptide blend, which was discovered by No7 scientists and a team at the University of Manchester. It’s one of the biggest cosmetic science breakthroughs in a generation. So it’s not surprising I see results. My favourite product is their newest addition, the No7 Future Renew™ Night Serum – but more on that later…

Step one: cleanse

No7 Future Renew™ Peptide Cleanser, €32.99

My evening ritual starts with the No7 Future Renew™ Peptide Cleanser, which gently lifts away make-up and cleans the skin, without leaving it tight or dry. I have quite sensitive skin, and this is one of the few cleansers that actually feels kind, a bit like a soft reset button. This powerful one-step cleanser brightens and nourishes skin for a visibly renewed complexion.* It’s also enriched with vitamin C and niacinamide – two of my favourite skincare ingredients for youthful skin.

Step two: protect

No7 Future Renew™ Night Serum, from €44.99

Then comes my favourite part, the newest addition to the range that my skin absolutely loves, the No7 Future Renew™ Night Serum. Clinically proven to reverse visible signs of skin damage in 100% of users**, this was developed to synchronise with the skin’s natural repair cycle at night when the skin’s repair window is at its peak. It’s soothing to apply, it sinks in beautifully, and I notice my skin looking more even and, dare I say it, brighter when I use it consistently.

Step three: moisturise

No7 Future Renew™ Night Cream, €47.99

I follow it up with the No7 Future Renew™ Night Cream, which feels indulgent and cocooning, like a comfort blanket for my face. It’s rich but not heavy, nourishing without being greasy. Basically: the dream. Then I finish with the No7 Future Renew™ Eye Serum, tapping it in gently (because I’m trying to be kinder with myself these days).

No7 Future Renew™ Eye Serum, €35.99

I know skincare can’t solve everything, but there’s something about this simple routine that helps me close out the day with intention. It’s a tiny moment of calm that’s just for me, and that in itself feels like an act of self-care.
