Sculpted by Aimee and Pink Pamper to bring the glam at Electric Picnic this year

Electric Picnic will return in all its pre-pandemic glory this weekend, with a packed weekend of music, activities and performances to keep festival-goers entertained.

The undeniable highlight on the summer calendar of events, this year’s festival comes after almost three years of nothingness, so safe to say, excitement levels are at an all-time high… even more so now that we’ve heard there will be dedicated hair and makeup stalls too.

As expected, the good old Irish weather is set to be as unpredictable as ever, but with both Sculpted by Aimee and Pink Pamper on hand, not even the promise of rain could dampen our spirits.

Named this year’s official beauty partner, Sculpted by Aimee will have their own dedicated makeup stand at the Sculpted Studio in the Pink Moon campsite. Open 9am to 7pm (Friday to Sunday), no appointment is needed and you can choose between three express beauty services; festival fresh skin (€20), express eyes to jazz up your EP look (€15) or sculpted rescue for touchups (€10).

Festival-goers will also be among the first to try the brand-new sun mist SPF 50 spray, currently only available online. Other standouts include the Pink ‘n’ Mix wall stocked full of handbag-friendly minis to keep you glowing on the go and the Sculpted Electric Picnic survival kit (€40), packed full of discounted skincare and makeup essentials.

As for your gruaig? Fret not, Monica Gellar humidity hair need not be your chosen look this year… unless you want it to be, of course. Pink Pamper will be setting up at the Jimmy Hendrix campsite from Friday at 12noon and they’ll be there right up until 6pm on Sunday. Services range from the use of a hairdryer/GHD (€10) to a hair wash (€10-€15), braids (€10-€30) and even festival face art (€5 – €25). There is a certain life-changing magic to a fresh blowdry, just saying. Pop into them on Friday to make your booking for the weekend.

Getting glam (and staying that way) will be all the easier this year… even if it does lash all weekend long.
