Tom Wambsgans turned his nose up at ludicrously capacious bags and flat shoes for the subway but months later and the latter couldn’t be more on trend. So, sorry Tom, you were wrong.
Last year, it was Miu Miu’s baby pink ballet flats that the fashion set fixated on. More recently, it’s Ganni’s pointed-toe slingbacks we’re all lusting over. Heels are out; flat shoes are very much in.
