2019’s most powerful dresser: 8 of Meghan Markle’s best royal looks

Want to see her? Be her? At the very least, we want to dress like her. The Duchess of Sussex’s status as one of the world’s biggest influencers has been cemented by new statistics from global fashion search platform Lyst. Throughout this year, Meghan Markle’s varied looks sparked a 216 per cent increase in consumer searches for similar fashion.

Since becoming the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has ushered in a new wave of minimalist modernity to the British royal family’s style. Known for her monochromatic outfits, boat necklines, and wearable power coats, the trick is that each look seems effortless – and extremely comfortable to wear. She’s known to frequent designers like Givenchy and Dior, while also mixing in more affordable finds from brands like Artizia and J.Crew.
