In case you coveted everything in our recent feature on Irish knitwear designer Honor Fitzsimons – read and develop a fast case of itchy wallet syndrome here ? we have good news for your shopping soul: Honor is having a sample sale today in Dublin’s city centre, alongside some of Irish fashion’s most exciting names. The Irish Designer Sample Sale is taking place today in the RSAI on Merrion Square. Today and tomorrow sees eight labels selling their wares, including Chupi, Manley, Lisa Ryder, Martha Lynn, Jill De Burca,?Giovanna Borza, Honor Fitzsimons, and? We?Are?Islanders.

Considering all these designers are either deeply respected in the industry at the moment or on the cusp of proper Ireland and the British Isles fame, it is well worth considering a fashion investment move this week. Buy Irish, sort out your winter wardrobe, and feel sartorially smug?

The event kicked off this morning at 10am and runs until 9pm?tonight. And if you’re too busy today, make some time tomorrow in your diary/filofax/app – all the above will be operating from 10am until 7pm. However, there are whispers of a drinks reception this evening, if you find yourself parched for new clothes?and a bit of an after work cooler. Thursday night plans are pretty much sorted, yes?

Details: Today, 8th Oct (10.00am- 10.00pm) and 9th Oct ?(10.00am – 7.00pm) at the RSAI, 63 Merrion Square
