Five gorgeous wear-anywhere spring skirts

Five gorgeous wear-anywhere spring skirts

From pleated to wrap, A-line to maxi, skirts are the thing for SS19. Whether you pair one of these with a T-shirt or trousers (yes, you can!), they’ll take you stylishly from desk to dinner, which is all you can really ask for from a new-season buy.

Spanish online label Bimba & Lola always offers something a little different. I love the button detailing and the asymmetric cut of this denim skirt. It feels fresh and modern and smart enough to wear to the office.

It’s almost time to pull out your seasonal whites. They always feel incredibly fresh mid-spring after months of charcoal and navy, which is probably why I’m drawn to this gorgeous high-waisted white skirt from Massimo Dutti. I’d style it with an earthy coloured shirt rather than anything too pastel or washed out as it will really emphasise the Daz-white impact of the skirt.

You can always count on Maje to deliver pieces that feel extra special. This skirt is beautifully feminine and ideal for occasionwear, but it could easily be given a cool boho feel if that’s more your vibe.

If you think you’ve outgrown Topshop, take a look at its Boutique range. It’s a contemporary mix of separates with unique detailing and directional cuts. This silk asymmetric skirt is stunning.

This Sandro skirt with frill finish could look as feminine, or not, as you like. Styled with a hooded top, it feels quite cool and sophisticated. Paired with heels and a blazer, it will look modern and sexy.
