Dreamy, earthed, nature and baroque are the most form-fitting ways to describe Erdem’s upcoming collaboration with high-street hero H&M.
In true Erdem style, the pieces are well-designed with a mix of form-fitting and loose-fitting silhouettes. It’s feminine and frilly, but not gentle. It’s both formal and informal, righteous and dark; a balanced makeup of the modern woman. The pieces mirror those on Erdem Moralioglu’s AW17 catwalk, which also took a feminine/masculine approach with delicate floral detailing and strong trouser and jacket combinations.
What the Erdem X H&M collection is not, however,is astronomically-priced with prices ranging from €19.99 to €250. The collection includes a full selection of jackets, tops, shirts, skirts, trousers, pants, shoes and accessories across women’s, men’s, and children’s ranges.
The collection includes a full selection of jackets and coats, silky lace blouses and shirts, whimsical skirts, trousers and pants, shoes and accessories across womenswear, menswear, and childrenswear. Picking a favourite piece is choosing to be a tricky task, but if we had to, it would be one of Erdem’s signature mid-length baroque-inspired dresses (very Morticia Addams, right?), which we expect to cause a site crash come release day.
Take a look at the full collection below and in our gallery above (plus the stunning editorial images!). Shop the full collection in selected H&M stores from November 2nd.
