Will Caitlyn Jenner Get A MAC Campaign?

Will Caitlyn Jenner Get A MAC Campaign?

Caitlyn Jenner is having a good week. Just days after her rapturous reveal on the cover of Vanity Fair, the Olympic medalist is allegedly courting some major beauty brands about starring in some high-profile campaigns.

Page Six and other gossip outlets are reporting that Caitlyn is talking to companies such as MAC Cosmetics about establishing a contract and has been doing so for some months – the doors a photo shoot with Annie Leibovitz will open for a girl.

Page Six spoke to Est?e Lauder’s group president and MAC owner John Demsey about the Vanity Fair owner, and his reaction to the Caitlyn reveal was enthusiastic. ?Simply amazing, iconic, epic, disruptive, bold, glamorous,? he said. ?There’s never been someone with that level of celebrity who’s ever done something so bold and so visible in public, and it’s done very elegantly and glamorously.? Caitlyn’s daughter Kendall is already an ambassador for Est?e Lauder, so it’d be great to see Caitlyn under the same beauty brand umbrella.

Meanwhile, E!? have been busy promoting it’s eight-part documentary series about Caitlyn, I am Cait. So far, the tone looks a little less dramatic than its sister show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. However, it certainly has some pretty amazing empathy going on, with clips so far revealing how becoming a woman has made her aware of the pressure women face because of beauty standards. It’s all very heartfelt, and we have a feeling this show is going to be a hit.
