Meet Charlotte Tilbury’s best lipstick collection yet.

This Thursday, June 20, Charlotte Tilbury launches Hot Lips 2, a collection of 11 lipsticks inspired by 11 people close to Charlotte Tilbury’s heart.

There’s a lip balm in homage to Edward Enninful, called Enigmatic Edward, five dreamy mattes inspired by Amal Clooney, Sofia Vergara, Charlotte’s mother, Carina Lau and Susan Sarandon, and five creamy shades inspired by J.K. Rowling, Kylie Minogue, Alessandra Ambrosio, Jennifer Aniston and Olivia Palermo.

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips 2 in Patsy Red, €35

Since I can remember, I have always believed that lipstick has a magical, secret, transformative power,” says Charlotte. “I would watch my mother Patsy applying her ruby red lipstick. She would always tell me as she put it on… lipstick is instant glamour and it will take you anywhere. I understood from an early age that lipstick empowers confidence. It was an act of instant beautification, confidence and strength. It pulled her style together and painted on happiness. At first, it was just my mother’s magic ritual, but soon I observed how it affects other women. There was psychology to make-up. If you look good, you feel good and the world reacts to you in a powerful way.”

The matte shades are long-lasting and not at all drying, thanks to a blend of oils and waxes for gliding softness, the hydrating balm is packed with shea butter, beeswax, hyaluronic acid, aloe vera and wax for 12 hours of moisture while the creamy shades are non-bleeding, conditioning and hella pigmented.

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips 2 in Red Hot Susan, €35

Charlotte Tilbury has pledged £1 million from the sales of Hot Lips 2 to her charity partner Women for Women International, where she’s been a global ambassador since 2016.

The charity is committed to helping women survivors of war rebuild their lives. The donation from Hot Lips 2 will give women the opportunity to enrol on a year-long training programme and change their lives and teach women how to earn and save money, improve their family’s health and make their voices heard at home and in their communities.
