With winter wedding season edging ever closer, now is the time to invest in a nice (warm!) coat that will see you through occasion after occasion.
Is it just me, or has the weather gotten considerably colder recently? Winter crept in almost overnight… which inevitably means that coat season is here to stay. However, with so many different styles currently on the market, it can be hard to narrow your choices down, particularly when trying to dress for fancier events such as weddings. A hooded puffer coat may do the job on your pre-work morning power walk, but it’s probably not the chicest occasionwear option.
So, what does one wear to a winter wedding? Everything from faux fur, to wool-blend coats, tailored blazers and even slick leather jackets are deemed acceptable. Beige, black and grey are the easiest to rewear with other outfits, though bright colours and bold prints definitely make a statement – decide what matters most to you and then go from there.
