Who could be better to offer advice than the woman who has written 15 best-selling books and had sales of over 35 million worldwide? Yes, award-winning author Marian Keyes has announced that she’ll be running a four-week online novel-writing course completely free of charge.
When it comes to fiction that is readable in the best possible sense, it’s the Irish author who instantly springs to mind. But she’s been where you might be when it comes to your book, be it feelings of fear, self-doubt and the rest, and she’s here to help you.
The course, she says, will help to cover the basics running through topics such as plot, characterisation and dialogue and it’s the questions submitted to her via social media that will help shape its content – you can submit yours via her Twitter or Instagram account. You’ll learn a lot – and what a great way to spend some time of an evening; in the company of this charming and endlessly gifted writer herself.
Her free course, which starts tonight, Monday, January 11th at 7.30pm, will air on Keyes’s ‘Instagram live’ account
