Considered Kitchen

We are super-swooning in the IMAGE office at this beautiful homewares collection by Helen James that has just hit Dunnes Stores.

Just in time for Autumn, when we’re all feeling a little bit more homely and prone to baking something, these artisanal style homewares and food stuffs are exactly what we’re looking for. Helen’s design credentials are world class and her time spent as design director at Donna Karan Home and her personal passion for the art of creating a considered kitchen are obvious.

From beautiful copper pots, strainers and moulds, which are bound to become heirloom pieces, to the Sanford range of hand-dipped ceramics, we can imagine kitting out our entire kitchen with this line. Price points are excellent too, beginning at €3 working up to €75 for the larger accessories.

It doesn’t stop at baking though, Helen has brought her design expertise to offer gorgeous wooden furniture, baskets and textiles.

Each piece is truly useful and truly beautiful and we love that there’s something nicely nostalgic, without being twee about Helen’s designs. Kudos to Dunnes for bringing in this collaboration. We’re sold! It’s available in selected stores and online.
