Shop the A/W Trend: The Fur Coat

The weather this week is telling us that it’s time to purchase that winter coat. Okay, it’s not exactly telling us, but the dreary weather has us craving a shopping spree and what better excuse than the annual warm coat “necessity”.

Don’t make the mistake of wearing last year’s one that’s on the cusp of looking knackered. Come October, all the cosiness of it will be worn out and there’ll be very little left on the market. Make the investment now before all the good coats?go, and go they will.

This Autumn/Winter has been all about fur with a 70’s acid twist. Think the bright colours of Roksanda, the power shoulders at Balmain and classic aviator with a kooky cut at Lanvin. It’s been so ubiquitous on the runways that the high street quickly caught whiff of the trend so it makes it the ideal budget purchase. Plus, it guaranteed you’ll be wearing it from?September through to February so you might as well look stylish in it.
