This month, I’m enjoying;
Chasing Away?
The chills in my new Heart Heart Heart scarf, designed and made here in Paris by Iracema Trevisan. Her scarves are like little works of art printed on beautiful fabrics.
Stocking Up ?
On beauty buys from Buly 1803. Stepping inside the Buly boutique on Rue Bonaparte is like stepping into an old French apothecary, reimagined for today. I adore the d?cor and beautiful products, especially Eau Triple (Tuberose) perfume. The scent is heavenly, and I love the iconic bottle!
Browsing ?
The Assouline boutique on Rue Bonaparte. This month, I will add The Big Book of Chic and The Shoe Book to my coffee table.
Shopping ?
In the Sonia Rykiel boutique book shop concept store on Boulevard Saint-Germain. Stepping inside is like walking into an extraordinarily glamorous library. Literature and fashion fit harmoniously together. Accessories, knitwear and stripey T-shirts are high on my wish list this season.
Long Cosy Lunches ?
At Ralph’s restaurant in Saint-Germain. I love the classical atmosphere, the d?cor and the courtyard ambience. The after-lunch espressos and caramel popcorn are favourite treats.
Dreaming ?
Of filling my apartment with Fornasetti candles and espresso cups. I love the whimsical humour in the designs.
Being Inspired ?
By Merrit Koek’s illustration, ?The Little Black Dress?. I will check out the Left?Bank fashion temple, Le Bon March?, to see what’s in store. Pink Prada shoes are also calling my name.
