WATCH: The Fair City cast cover Maniac 2000 and it’s all kinds of wonderful

Imagine if the cast of Fair City came together to do a virtual rendition of Maniac 2000…

When Gal Gadot and her celebrity friends dropped a cover of John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ last week, the internet reaction was, shall we say, muted.

While the celebritithon song asked us to imagine if there was no heaven, it had the opposite effect of making many of us wonder why we were being subjected to this fresh hell.

The video has since led to a number of hilarious parodies and the latest, led by Fair City actor Roxanna Nic Liam, involves the cast of Carrigstown.

Last week, Nic Liam asked her Twitter followers if she should “follow suit and get the cast of Fair City to do Maniac 2000″?

The answer was, of course, an emphatic “yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah”.

Enjoy.
