Swimwear Brands We Love

We’re in full-on holiday mode and that means the hunt for the perfect swimwear is on. If you’re going to bare all, then beachwear has got to be comfy, bright, and flattering – no mean feat. A couple things to note before you start:

1 Smaller busts look best with halter-neck bikini tops – the triangular shape will create the illusion of a fuller bust.

2 Bigger bust? Go for a thick-strapped halter neck with a bralet shape underneath for extra support.
High-cut bikini bottoms will add length to your legs.

3 Kaftans are so versatile – from tying around midriffs, to covering shoulders and upper arms, have one to hand.

Here are our three favourite beachwear brands that tick all the right boxes

MONA
If you’re looking to update your beachwear collection from boring black bandeaus to enchantingly edgy beach threads, then look no further than MONA. The brainchild of Carla Johnson, who studied textile design at NCAD, Dublin, her beachwear collections are luxurious, bursting with intricate prints and iridescent elements. We love.

You can check out MONA at the CREATE pop-up in Brown Thomas from July 7.

Master & Muse by Amber Valletta
Amber is a girl crush of ours, so of course her beach collection is on our wishlist, The best part is that eco-queen Amber has made sure every piece in the collection is created ethically yet super elegant. Shop it now at Yoox.com

Seafolly
This Australian label have been a beachwear favourite for ever, but their latest campaign with Gigi Hadid has upped their appeal majorly. Think bold prints, eccentric colours and loads of styles, whatever your shape. Shop the swimsuits now at Brown Thomas.
