Søstrene Grene to open their largest store outside of Denmark in Dublin’s city centre

Søstrene Grene to open their largest store outside of Denmark in Dublin’s city centre

There’s plenty to celebrate this week with the announcement that Søstrene Grene is readying to open its third Irish shop, this time in Dublin’s city centre.

One of our favourite Scandinavian brands has announced they’ll be opening the doors of a new South Great George’s Street shop on Friday, August 3. It will be their largest outside their home country of Denmark so prepare to snap up lots of small furniture, kitchen supplies, craft and DIY articles, party decorations, and stationery, all with Søstrene’s signature design flair.

With five shops spread across the country in Dun Laoghaire, Blanchardstown, Athlone, Cork, and Limerick, discerning shoppers will already know how quickly items fly out the door of this labyrinth-like interiors haven, with things like notebooks and paper, adorable kid’s toys and accessories, kitchenware, and lots of homewares from trinkets to rugs. Plus, the large space is 370 square metres so it’s sure to have plenty of Søstrene Grene’s sell-out furniture – does anyone else remember the great run on for their velvet dining chairs earlier this year? Plus, with new products rolling in the doors every week it means that there’s something new at every visit.

As frequent purveyors of the Dun Laoghaire branch, we know it’s the perfect place to get non-naff wrapping paper, pretty storage boxes and colourful candles for any occasion, as well as elegant seasonal decorations. Keep an eye on the catalogues, where it will note the exact dates everything is expected to arrive in store so you won’t miss out on that gold cocktail shaker you’ve been waiting on. Because who doesn’t need a gold cocktail shaker?

Søstrene Grene opens their new store at 60/70 South Great Georges Street on Friday, August 3.
