Guests were treated to a first class day of Polo and Pommery champagne recently when the Irish Polo Team beat their American counterparts 5-1 in a showdown at the All Ireland Polo Club in Phoenix Park. The exclusive event was organised by the Lotus Child charity, an all-volunteer Irish charity dedicated to easing the plight of Street Children in India.

Hosted in a bespoke marquee on the historic grounds of the Phoenix Park Polo Club, guests enjoyed a Pommery champagne reception followed by a sumptuous luncheon created by Denis Connolly of Tinakilly House. Guests at the event, which was MC’d by Gavin Duffy, were later treated to a taste of Pommery’s Sky Blue at the ceremonial Stomping of the Divots during the match. Brimming goody bags for all were kindly provided by Arnotts.
