A sneak peek inside the IMAGE Boutique Awards winners lunch

It has been a mammoth few weeks for independent retailers around the country campaigning for the eleven coveted titles in the inaugural IMAGE Boutique Awards, but we are finally nearing the end. Today marks the start of the last full week of public voting, and work is underway to create the perfect atmosphere to celebrate the lucky winners.

On 17th August, we will invite the winners of each category in The Boutique Awards to join IMAGE editors and the Boutique Awards judges for a special celebratory lunch in the five star Dylan hotel.

This lunch will include live music, champagne and a meal prepared by the renowned chefs at the Dylan, during which we will celebrate Irish boutiques and all the winners. Guests who would like to make a weekend of it will receive a special discount code to avail of 20% off their stay at the hotel (particularly handy for those of you travelling from outside of Dublin).

On the day, attendees will mix with the cream of Ireland’s fashion crop; from shop owners to fashion experts, designers, journalists and style mavens as well as IMAGE editors. The awards will see the best in Irish fashion come together to support their own and celebrate their achievements to push above and beyond in making their shopping experiences the best that it can be. Boutiques are so important to the Irish fashion industry, to regional economies and to the social fabric of our towns and cities. At IMAGE we value these relationships and taking time to enjoy buying something special. We have been blown away by the reaction to our first ever IMAGE Boutique Awards, and are currently counting tens of thousands of entries. This is a cause that is not only important to get behind, but that the public clearly feels very strongly about (and it’s giving us all the feels, too).

Make sure to keep the date free if you were shortlisted for the inaugural IMAGE Boutique Awards, and keep voting! Voting closes on midnight, Sunday 29th July and winners will be contacted on Friday 3rd August.
