Real Weddings: Claire and David’s beautiful celebration in Borris House

Borris House Reception, Co Carlow, Brosnan Photographic

Claire and David wanted their wedding day to be bursting with romance and tradition, and for that they could not have asked for a more perfect backdrop than the sprawling grounds of Borris House, Co Carlow. The elegance and femininity of this country house reflected the warmth and cosiness that they wanted this day to be about, effortlessly tying in with the softness of their hushed colour palettes and dainty decor.

Personal touches were seen throughout, from the tapestry featuring the pair’s favourite poem (painted by Claire herself), to the hand-stamped spoons, which served as guests seating cards.
