Fairytale sophistication in a historic Dublin venue

THEY ARE Moira Breslin and Norman Gallagher

THEY LIVE New York

THEY MET At a bar in New York city, exactly 10 years before their wedding day

THEY FELL IN LOVE With New York. After a brief stint living in their respective home cities (Dublin and London), the couple decided to move back to the US permanently.

THEIR WEDDING Moira and Norman’s classy gig was the epitome of sophisticated romance. Months of preparation paid off when the couple finally tied the knot in Dublin’s dramatic Christ Church Cathedral. Organising their wedding from New York was one of the major challenges the couple faced in preparing for their nuptials so an expert, ?on the ground? team was crucial in helping the duo pull everything together. Moira and Norman had decided on an evening ceremony and the sultry vibe created in the crypt – then later at The Vintage Cocktail Club – was gorgeous proof that you need neither blazing sunshine nor clear skies for the perfect Irish wedding. Jealous. The bride and groom don’t admit to having a single regret about their wedding day and, as the party drew to a close in the small hours, they simply wished that they could do it all over again?

Their Favourite Thing? The venues.?Exposed and vaulted stone, illuminated by candlelight, lent a gothic beauty to the couple’s classy after party in The Vintage Cocktail Club.?Dispensing with weather worries, this duo opted for an evening ceremony in lavish, yet cosy surroundings. A brilliant idea in our, erm, changeable climate.

Their best moments? ?The blessing. Dean Dunne was so welcoming and inclusive of all our guests. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed and the choir was incredible?
