Prince Harry and Meghan Markle share never-before-seen photos on wedding anniversary

It’s been a weekend of royal weddings; first for Lady Gabriella Windsor and now, a sharing of royal wedding memories. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are celebrating their first wedding anniversary this weekend. To commemorate the day, the couple has shared a series of never-before-seen photographs with the public.

The video post shows never-before-seen wedding photos in black and white, accompanied by a live recording of the recessional song from their ceremony, “This Little Light of Mine,” performed by the Kingdom Choir.

“Thank you for all of the love and support from so many of you around the world,” the duke and duchess said in the post’s caption on Instagram. “Each of you made this day even more meaningful.”

The couple tied the knot in St George’s Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018, in a ceremony aired on live TV that reached over 2 billion viewers. The Duchess of Sussex chose British designer Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy to design her sleek and modern wedding gown. The long-sleeved gown had a boat neckline and sweeping veil – embroidered with the flora of all 53 countries of the Commonwealth – with Markle opting for minimal makeup on the day. She also hid her ‘something blue’ inside her wedding dress.

The photos contain many intimate moments beautifully captured, such as a shot of the moment Prince Charles met Meghan to accompany her on the final part of her walk to the altar and the couple signing the register.
