This new Schweppes pop-up is the perfect excuse for Thursday night cocktails

Schweppes’ new Ultimate Mixer Studio in Dublin is launching next week, and it’s making us very excited for party season.

December is just around the corner and that means fizz, food and lots of excuses to wear those Black Friday-bought outfits. Venues in Dublin city are filling up quick, and you almost need to start planning your Christmas get-togethers in January at this rate to beat the crowds.

We get used to the same old places very quickly (Dublin isn’t that big, after all) so when a new venue opens its doors at this time of year, we can’t wait to see what’s in store. And the latest pop-up coming to our streets sounds like the perfect way to kick off party season.

Schweppes’ latest venture, a pop-up Ultimate Mixer Studio at 20 Dawson Street, opens next Thursday, December 5 for three nights only, and it’s shaping up to be the hottest venue in town. And want to know the best part? It’s completely free of charge — all you have to do is book your tickets online beforehand!

Signs of Power, who will be working her magic at the Ultimate Mixer Studio all weekend

So what makes the Ultimate Mixer Studio so special? Well, there are Schweppes cocktails for one, but the real pull is the talented bunch of folk ready to entertain you. There’ll be live screen printing from artists Jill&Gill (whose work we absolutely love), sign painter and street artist Signs of Power will be live painting a mural over the course of the weekend, and the music will be amazing, with DJ’s like Tara Stewart, Stephen Byrne, January Russell Winters and Gordon Johnson all taking to the decks over the weekend.

By now, you must be screaming at the screen for tickets. We get it, we were too. Simply head to Schweppes’ Eventbrite page to book your 1.5 hour slot. Happy weekend!
