The line-up for tonight’s Late Late Show has been confirmed and it promises to be a good one. Host Ryan Tubridy will take to the stage at 9:35 pm, where he’ll chat with guests about everything from housing to animal welfare.

First up is Oscar-winner Glen Hansard, who will join Ryan to talk about his new documentary Camino Voyage. Glen will reveal the details behind his 2,500km journey from Ireland to Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain.

Next, Once Upon A Time actress Victoria Smurfit will speak to Ryan about her daughter’s illness. At just 14 years old, Eve has been diagnosed with Stargardt’s Macular Dystrophy, an eye condition which eventually leads to blindness. Both Victoria and Eve will discuss the impact of the diagnosis on their family.

In line with the health theme, Dancing With The Stars judge Julian Benson will return to the Late Late Show to talk about the Cystic Fibrosis foundation he’s setting up. The world-famous choreographer is expected to open up about his life with CF, as well as the importance of his upcoming charity ball.

From health to housing, Ryan will be joined by a panel of experts to discuss the Irish rental market. The panel will include Room To Improve host Dermot Bannon; Karl Deeter of Irish Mortgage Brokers, and Linda Daly who edits the Sunday Times property supplement.

What’s more, Taken Down star Blessing Moyo will chat about her experience of direct provision in Ireland, since fleeing Zimbabwe and seeking asylum here in 2008.

Animal lovers will enjoy the following segment, in which Ryan meets rescue dogs live on air. Dogs Trust, Ireland’s largest dog welfare charity, will be on-hand to explain the dangers of buying dogs from bad breeders; as well as the meaning behind their new campaign “How is that Doggie in the Window?”

Watch The Late Late Show on RTÉ One this Friday, October 16 at 9.35pm.
