This weekend, trendsetting homeowners, homemovers, and home improvers are set to descend on the RDS to draw inspiration from the permanent tsb Ideal Home Show running from Friday, 27th – Monday, 30th October. With over 230 top quality suppliers participating together with expert advice from the architectural, interiors, and renovation world, this highly anticipated autumn show is expected to attract even larger crowds over the four-day weekend.

Attendees can expect daily talks from expert speakers discussing current trends in home and design, offering tips and advice for home homeowners, whilst the beautifully designed Showhouse, created by one of Ireland’s most talented Interior Designers Collette Ward, showcases how to seamlessly incorporate these trends into the home. Other highlights include free architectural advice, information on remodelling and redesigning, the latest in kitchens and bathrooms, the most up-to-date in technology and gadgets and much, much more. 

There are a number of different areas at the permanent tsb Ideal Home Show no matter what part of the home you’re seeking to renovate, update or completely rework your favourite rooms. Some of the weekend highlights include:

As this event is all about ideas and inspiration for the home, leading creative experts will share their ideas and their experiences with homeowners in the specially built Irish Times Home & Design Theatre located in the heart of The Irish Times Home Interiors Fair. Talks will include the latest ideas on interior design and décor, new home design, extending your home, colour choices, lighting, use of space and garden design. 

The RIAI Build & Extend Theatre

Looking for advice on your home extension, remodelling project or new build?  Look no further than the RIAI panel of experts who will each day discuss the topics of extending, remodelling and building. No matter how big or small your project – a registered architect will assist you on the potential of your home.

 Architectural Advice  

For any homeowners planning to extend, renovate or build a new home, the first port of call must be to talk to a professional architect. Take this opportunity to meet with members of The Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland and at least 10 architectural practices exhibiting, all of whom will be on hand to provide free of charge consultations.

 Health and Wellness Pavilion

The kitchen is often considered the heart of the home, whilst bathrooms can often provide a much-needed relaxation sanctuary.  There will be a vast range of kitchen and bathroom brands showcasing their concepts and designs over the weekend including Christoff Kitchens and Sonas Bathrooms, all of whom will offer expert advice on how to improve or update your existing kitchen and bathroom.
