The new ghd collection comes with a donation to the Irish Cancer Society

The brand has designed a limited edition ghd range in partnership with the Irish Cancer Society

Every year, ghd turns pink. With their limited-edition collections every year, they have raised over $19 million globally for breast cancer charities they’ve been supporting for 16 years. This year, they’ve designed a limited edition ghd range in partnership with the Irish Cancer Society.

The collection includes the ghd platinum+, gold and helios in a limited edition powdered dusty pink, embossed with the message: take control now.

This campaign is focused on educating and encouraging women, especially under 35-year-olds, that they need to check their breasts regularly.

Statistics show that 1 in 2 women don’t regularly check their boobs for signs of cancer and 90% of 18-35 year olds check only a few times a year or less.

With cases of breast cancer in women under 35 at 120,000 globally each year, the focus of the campaign is to educate and remind women to donate some mirror time and self-check their boobs, every month.

With ‘Take Control Now’ embossed on the collection, women will be reminded every time they use their hair tools to self-check.

With €10 from every limited edition styler sold donated to the Irish Cancer Society, not only will you have a regular reminder and super sleek shiny hair, but you’ll also be supporting a worthy cause.
