5 Irish Jewellery Designers You Need To Follow

THE STORY OF THE LOST FOREST

Gillian Corcoran of Eco Resin & Homewares creates enchantingly delicate wearables using organic and environmentally friendly materials from Ireland. A self-confessed designer, maker, flower preserver, photographer and daydreamer, Gillian skilfully uses a combination of broken metallic leaf with real flowers, feathers, moss and shells that she has personally collected to transform into wearable art. Follow her at @gilliancorcoran

BL?ITH?N ENNIS

Irish Designer of The Year 2016,?Bl?ith?n Ennis prides herself on sourcing and manipulating exceptional materials to create beautiful contemporary pieces. After launching her own successful brand in 2012, this young designer is certainly one to watch. She lives and works by her mantra “a unique accessory can give a new lease of life to the very simple garment,” and we couldn’t agree more. Follow her at @bl?ith?nennis

DON’T KILL MY VIBE

Unleash your hidden hard side with these Dublin-duo designers. Influenced by rap and rock music, Don’t Kill My Vibe source their metallics and beads from all over the world to create their rock-chick inspired pieces, and describe themselves as “if Fleetwood Mac and Tupac did a duet.” Follow them at @dntkillmv

SADHBH NATHAN DESIGNS

A former NCAD student, Sadhbh Nathan is a craft jeweller and designer based in Dublin who specialises in metalsmithing and jewellery (think Celtic-warrior-princess meets soft-Irish-landscape). She masterfully creates?a range of necklaces, rings, earrings, and bracelets. ?Follow her at @sadhbhnathandesigns.

?ADDIEBEADS

Mary Drea is on a mission to inject colour and positivity into bespoke jewellery design. Importing exquisite and elaborate Czech glass beads, Drea gathers and entwines individual beads together to create an explosion of colour that will brighten any outfit. ?She also offers easy-to-follow tutorials on her website so you can make your own, and teaches you to upcycle and recycle your old, loved jewellery. Follow her at @addiebeads.
