Courteney Cox to Marry in Mayo

Courteney Cox to Marry in Mayo

Courtney Cox

When it comes to wedding venues, Ireland really is the bees knees, right? So much so, we’re no longer jetting off to sunny spots to get hitched, and those who have enough money to celebrate their nuptials anywhere in the world are actually doing it here (well, Kim and Kanye spent their honeymoon here).

Another lady in the spotlight to have fallen in love with Ireland is former Friends star Courteney Cox who’s just decided on her venue when she ties the knot with her Snow Patrol fianc? Johnny McDaid: Ashford Castle in Lough Corrib, Co. Mayo.

Rumour has it she fell head over heels in love with the venue after scoping it out whilst visiting McDaid’s family in the area. A source told The Sun:??”Johnny took Courteney to Ireland to meet his family and they fell in love with Ashford Castle…?They want to get married there at the end of the year and have a big bash in LA on a Malibu beach afterwards.”

Courteney accepted Johnny’s proposal after just six months of dating, which by Cheryl Cole standards, is probably a lifetime. They were allegedly first introduced to one another by their mutual friend, Ed Sheeran.

Do you think six months is a long enough amount of time to tell whether or not you could happily spend your life with someone? Is it still within the honeymoon period or do you think it depends entirely on the couple? It’s certainly nothing new to move at hyper speed in Tinsel Town.

Share your thoughts below. And for more jaw-dropping venues in Ireland, head over yonder.
