COS x HAY’s Spring Additions Have Arrived

COS x HAY’s collaborative spring collection is a delight. Take a closer look…?

What do you get when you marry Danish functionalism with Swedish fashion? It’s a Scandinavian dream, where considerate design meets structured minimalism. Originally COS x HAY teamed up late last year, and this spring sees a new line centred around the themes of ‘live’, ‘work’ and ‘dine’.

For the collection, Karin Gustafsson and Martin Andersson (Heads of Design at COS) have handpicked pieces from the HAY collection inspired by art, design and architecture, with an emphasis on soft colours, light wood, cork finishes, and above all, durable simplicity.

The full curated collection is available from COS London High Street Kensington, Vienna Neubaugasse and Gothenburg, while Irish shoppers can buy smaller items from the online edit.?Here’s five pieces we’re coveting right now.

COS x Hay Ballograf Pen

Ballograf Pen, €19:?The counter pen, a timeless’design of the 1930s was originally conceived?to stop people rambling off with a free pen. The HAY’s Ballograf interpretation?is a modern classic, modelled in?ivory or light pink.

COS x HAY Kaleido X-Large Tray

Kaleido X-Large Metal Tray, €59: Bold colours and metallic materials combine in these dazzling trays. Rather than hiding one tray under the other, stack them and embrace geometry.

COS x HAY Volet Hook Set

Volet Hook (Set of Two), €19:?Available in brown, black or biscuit-coloured and made from powder coated aluminium, these discreet hooks seem to float. The folded wings hide the screw.

COS x Hay Fray Square Cushion

Fray Square Cushion, €99:?Perfect for living rooms or bedrooms, this Kvadrat-designed wool cushion has flecks of contrasting colour along its frayed?edges.

COS x HAY Paper Espresso Cup

Paper Espresso Cup, €29:?As if coffee wasn’t addictive enough, this is a must-have from spring’s ‘dine’ category: an espresso cup made to look like neatly folded recycled paper. The look is achieved with lightweight porcelain and is iron-speckled by hand.
