They are midwife Blathnaid O?Neill and producer Nick Simkins Together over six years They met in Sydney through a mutual friend who was trying to find Nick a roommate, they moved in together and – just like a rom com – they fell in love.

?Nick proposed while we were on holiday in Portugal. He convinced me to go for an early morning swim. It was pitch black and we had no idea where the beach was. Neither had I any idea what he had planned. We eventually found a beach and set up our towels. I got up to go to the water and turned around to see Nick down on one knee with a box, the sun rising behind him – I don’t even think he asked, he was so nervous. I was wailing like a baby anyway so I don’t know that it mattered. Our wedding was the best day of our lives – laughter, tears, love, sunshine and dancing. What else could you ask for??
