One World: Together at Home global concert adds more artists to the line-up, including Alicia Keys, Hozier and Niall Horan

We’ve been anxiously awaiting the upcoming “One World: Together at Home” live aid concert this weekend, especially since Global Citizen announced that even more high-profile artists will be performing.

In partnership with WHO and Global Citizen, the performance will pledge proceeds to the UN’s Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

Lady Gaga curated the concert, which previously promised appearances from Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Chris Martin, Elton John, John Legend, Lizzo, Paul McCartney and more.

And now even more stars have decided to join in the relief efforts by taking part.

Over 70 artists have joined the line-up, including Alicia Keys, Camila Cabello, Céline Dion, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lopez, Hozier, Jack Black, Matthew McConaughey, Oprah Winfrey, Liam Payne, Sam Smith, Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, Usher, Victoria Beckham, Niall Horan, Michael Buble, Rita Ora and The Killers.

But that’s not all.

As well as musical performances, One World will also feature beloved Sesame Street characters as well as stories from healthcare professionals, messages of gratitude from those they’ve helped and segments from WHO and UN global health experts.

The event will originally take place Saturday, April 18, available to stream via Facebook, YouTube and American TV networks, and will be internationally broadcast on RTÉ and BBC One on April 19.
