A Year of Curious and Creative Talks

Indigo & Cloth logo

Dublin‘s Indigo & Cloth is set to host 12 influential design talks in 12 months?

Here in Interior Buzz, we’ve touched before on the thing that is currently inspiring us most about Irish Design 2015 – the palpable sense of coming together and the creation of a whole that is greater than the simple sum of its parts.

With this in mind, we are excited that this week sees the start of a series of collaborative ‘Blueprint talks’. Hip creatives Indigo & Cloth and Making Space have partnered up to provide a platform for this series that will take the shape of 12 talks over the 12 months. The talks will be centred around ‘do it yourself? independent creatives and focus on design, crafts, visual culture, business and innovative processes.

Taking place in the beautiful Indigo & Cloth building on Essex Street East in Temple Bar, Dublin, Talk 1 will feature a talented panel made up of Makers & Brothers, Notion and Loft Trading. Each of these is staying true to what Irish design is all about for us, by ‘making things happen not only for themselves, but for the industries that they are working in?. The first one kicks off tomorrow!

Talk 1 ?Makers? – January 29, 7pm,? €5. Grab a ticket while there are still some left here: blog.indigoandcloth.com/blueprint-talks. See also makingspace.ie.
