Why Hexagons Are Hot in Homewares

See More Photos
I don’t know much about geometry, but I do know I like?hexagon-shaped decor. This sleek symmetrical six-sided shape is?filling the shelves this summer, and it’s easy to see why.

Hexagons have been a?key shape for trend-setting?Danish brands like?Hay, Ferm Living and Bloomingville for a while now, and the’design doesn’t seem to be going anywhere fast. Nordic design has long had a love of geometrics, so it’s only natural that as Scandi chic style?grows in popularity so too do?cool honeycomb shapes.

Try it in pastel hues to soften its strong angular forms, or pair it with metallics for a cool industrial touch. Hexagons also work great in vases, as they contrast beautifully against the flowing?organic blooms.

Click into our?gallery to see our pick of some hot hexagonal buys.?
