1 New Year’s Gala Ball

You know that dress hanging in the wardrobe waiting for that ‘special outing?? Here’s your chance to shine some disco lights on it. Swagger into Doubletree by Hilton, Dublin for a four-course gala dinner washed down with wine, before a sparkling after-dinner toast and The Bently Boys and a DJ to keep ya shakin? it until late. Tickets €85.

2 The Haddington

If dancing until dawn in a ball gown isn’t quite your fort?, and bopping to Abba beats in apr’s ski attire is, then note Dun Laoghaire’s Oliveto at The Haddington. With a choice of rooms to mingle in, that midnight magic may just happen, especially with magician Rua meandering through the crowd. Nibble on incredible Italian-inspired food in between sips of prosecco with sea views to savour on the side. Tickets €75.

3 Dunboyne Castle

Flapping and tapping the night away Gatsby-style is possible in Meath at?Dunboyne Castle‘s vintage, 1920’s themed ‘do?. It starts with a lavish dinner in The Ivy followed by a post-dinner party in the glamorous Sadlier Bar with a live band and cocktails galore. When the need to be horizontal occurs, just take the elevator to a sumptuous bedroom. Tickets €170 (including dinner, B&B).

4 Hayfield Manor

This is a sophisticated affair so dress-up for a champagne and canap? reception but leave room for the seven-course gourmet meal paired with wine.
