5 Florists To Follow On Instagram

With Bloom 2015 on all this weekend, we’ve become strangely obsessed with all sorts of fabulous flowers. To be a dedicated florist, creating oodles of stunning floral arrangements takes serious work, and if we’re honest, we never tire of looking at the truly gorgeous snaps of them (who does?). For the weekend that’s in it, we’ve chosen five of the florists that you’d be blooming mad not to follow on Instagram.

ICYMI: Boots Botanics In Bloom

Appassionata Flowers based in Dublin are quite simply one of our favourite florists, and beloved by our IMAGE Brides gang too. And why wouldn’t they be? Their vast range of truly amazing creations are a sight to behold. Follow them as they give you a glimpse behind the scenes as they put together some brilliant bouquets.

ICYMI: 6 Irish Illustrators To Follow On Instagram The Informal Florist, run by co-owners Claire and Patsie is another favourite of ours here at IMAGE HQ and of our sister publications IMAGE Brides and IMAGE Interiors. ?The ladies specialise in creating floral designs for weddings and events, and aim to keep their creations beautiful, classic and elegant. Some of the floral designs on their page are breathtakingly gorgeous.

We stumbled across florist Mary Lennox based in Berlin in Germany, and we were immediately taken with her mystical creations. Owned and operated by Ruby Barber, Mary Lennox is named after the character in Frances Hodgson Burnett’s novel The Secret Garden.? This is indeed an apt choice, as her floral arrangements have a certain mystery and enchantment to them, which really comes across on her instagram account. Below is one of our favourite snaps – a beautiful bouquet and an equally gorgeous dog. It doesn’t get much better.

swallowsanddamsons (run by Anna Potter) is a flower shop based in England and the stunning array of colours and eye-catching floral design made us sit up and hit the follow button straight away. Each snap features what looks to be an almost impossibly perfect arrangement of petals. Its hours later and we still can’t stop looking at them.

Florist Amy Merrick from Brooklyn in New York City caught our eye next. She says she ?creates evocative tablescapes of flowers, foliage, fruits and branches for weddings,? and if her instagram snaps are anything to go by, this is well and truly the case. ?Her feed is full of fresh, picturesque shots with some mesmerising bouquets and arrangements.
