A celebration of the strong, exciting, forward-thinking community we have cultivated through our IMAGE Business Club, we hosted a festive event to give our members the thanks they deserve.

Earlier this week, team IMAGE hosted a special members-only evening to celebrate female entrepreneurship (and for making it through 2022!). Our night’s special guest was Aimee Connolly, who was joined in conversation by IMAGE contributing editor Melanie Morris.

When was it?

Monday, 12 December

Where was it?

The Westbury, Balfe Street, Dublin

What did the event entail?

As with all our IMAGE Business Club Live events, the evening at The Westbury offered plenty of opportunity for members to meet and mingle with fellow members and coaches, along with the IMAGE team; raise a glass to our successes and achievements; and hear from one of Ireland’s most inspirational entrepreneurs, Aimee Connolly, make-up artist and founder of Sculpted.

Aimee has had a phenomenal year, and is closing off 2022 with a store on Grafton Street, extended distribution in the UK and other significant milestones, both personally and professionally. We caught up with Aimee, and reflected on some key learnings from her meteoric success.

With welcome drinks from Malfy and Fever Tree, canapés, and a special festive performance by The Victory Dolls, the evening began on a high note, and this continued right through to the end of the evening.

Each attendee received a luxury gift bag from Sculpted by Aimee, including the Beauty Blocks and Beauty Base (worth over €55!). Enhance, define and amplify with the Beauty Blocks 4-in-1 face palette. The palette features cream and powder highlighters, a bronzer and a blush to help you create that just-pinched glow in seconds. The Beauty Base is an all-in-one moisturising primer that preps, protects and perfects in one simple application. It features light-reflecting microparticles that create a subtle golden glow.

For a more in depth look at what was covered during our discussion with Aimee, read this piece on what we learned from Aimee Connolly at the final Business Club Live event of 2022.
