Last week, the 13th year of CREATE at Brown Thomas opened its must-see showcase of emerging Irish designers to watch.
A renowned celebration of next generation talent, CREATE puts emerging brands and designers in the spotlight, and has been doing so for 13 years now. This year’s showcase features Sara O’Neill of Éadach, Rachel Maguire of Rashhiiid and Sarah Caine, among an array of 28 of Ireland’s most talented emerging designers spanning ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, millinery, jewellery and homewares.
Brown Thomas Arnotts Fashion Director, Shelly Corkery comments: “Selecting this year’s showcase of designers was such a privilege, the standard of design is outstanding from craftsmanship and innovation to presentation and design — it is so inspiring to see. Every year we are blown away with development of previous designers collections and also discovering new brands and collections.”
The launch event, which took place on 6 July, saw many industry experts, stylists and influencers step out to spot some new talent and browse the incredible wears that this showcase has to offer.
Running until Sunday 20 August, CREATE at Brown Thomas is located on Level 2 at Brown Thomas’s Grafton Street store, and can also be browsed online.
