New categories announced in IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards 2025

Calling all visionary leaders, brave risk-takers, expert managers, global go-getters, social changemakers and ambitious self-starters! The IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards is Ireland’s leading business award for women and is dedicated to recognising the success, innovation and leadership of women across a diverse and inspiring range of industries, professions and communities. The nomination period for these prestigious awards are now open.

Every year, the event attracts hundreds of high calibre entries from across the country and this year this is expected to grow even stronger with the inclusion of a number of new categories, including an international category.

Last year the incredible businesswomen who featured on category shortlists and the ultimate winners included well-known successful women in business and new faces who are shaping the ecosystem of Irish business.

This year, there are 14 categories including four new break-out areas: Management Professional – Emerging Professional; Management Professional – Senior Professional; ESG Champion of the Year; and International Businesswoman of the Year.

The nomination period (when you can nominate yourself or someone else) closes on Wednesday, February 26.

The awards will be held on Friday, April 25. It will be an unforgettable evening of networking, entertainment and celebration, where like-minded professionals will connect in a dynamic social setting.
