Sonia Deasy: A week in my wardrobe

by Sarah Finnan
14th Jul 2024

The founder and CEO of Pestle & Mortar skincare, Sonia Deasy is all about simple ingredients that work hard – and the same can be said of her outfits which are built around quality pieces that can be worn in multiple ways. Here she shares a week in her wardrobe.

MONDAY

If I have to travel, I normally leave on a Monday. I like to be at home with the kids on the weekends, so I never fly on Saturday or Sunday for work. I landed in Copenhagen and went straight into meetings with our stockists. Comfort is crucial, so I wore Varley attire paired with trainers from Copenhagen Studios, perfect for a day full of walking.

TUESDAY

Tuesday was all about our brand launch. I dressed up in an elegant Ulla Johnson dress and Prada loafers, perfect for meeting press, PR, and influencers. It’s important to feel confident and stylish on such significant days.

WEDNESDAY

Wednesday was a casual office day. I opted for comfort with Me+ Em trousers and a COS t-shirt, perfect for catching up on emails and meetings.

THURSDAY

Thursday was the shoot day for our new lip product. I wore a light and fun COS vest with Paige jeans, which allowed me to stay comfortable and stylish during the in-house photoshoot.

FRIDAY

Friday was a special day – my son’s graduation. I wore a simple yet elegant outfit by Sinead Keary, an Irish designer, making me feel proud and stylish for the occasion.

SATURDAY

Saturday was all about enjoying nature with a hike in Glendalough. I wore comfortable Lululemon attire, perfect for the trails and taking in the beautiful scenery.

SUNDAY

Sunday was a relaxed day spent visiting my dad. I kept it simple with a COS top and Chupi North Star chain, and made sure to protect my skin with our newest SPF Daily Shield.
