Avoca launched its Autumn Winter 2025 collection in the magical setting of its iconic 302-year-old weaving mill in Wicklow. Here's a glimpse of the beautiful launch, held in the historic mill, a living symbol of Irish heritage and craftsmanship at the very heart of the Avoca brand.
Last week, Ireland’s oldest weaving mill became an immersive fashion runway, with models in 60 different looks strutting alongside the 100-year-old warping machines, looms, yarns and threads that are used to weave Avoca’s own signature designs.
Guests were welcomed with Irish autumnal produce including Gubbeen smoked cheese and Avoca home baked ham mini croissants, pumpkin and sage tartlets, bubble and squeak rosti with Guinness, smoked salmon and mini savoury scones with fig jam and signature Avoca sweet treats.
The show exhibted a kaleidoscope of colourful Avoca Mill designs, featuring new and exclusive pieces from their strong statement outerwear collection, bright and bold Donegal mohair tweed coats, as well as bold metallic and beaded accessories and outerwear by Rains and Wega Green Goose, a contemporary German brand new to Avoca. There were elevated layering pieces by Varley, modern partywear from Second Female, FRNCH, and Fabienne Chapot and cowboy-inspired looks from NFD. Accessories remained key, with Danish brands Day Et and Rino & Pelle offering faux fur shopping totes and embellished bags that will add polish to every outfit.
“As we embrace AW25, we welcome a blend of innovative and confident new brands to Avoca across fashion, accessories and menswear, with a strong focus on our own Avoca Mill collection,” said Maoliosa Connell Director Of Marketing, Creative & Buying at the launch..” To present these collections in the heart of our 302-year-old Mill, a place that embodies our legacy and inspires our future, was a pillar moment for the brand, truly highlighting our blend of tradition and innovation that defines Avoca.”
