Traditionally romantic ruffles now make a bold contemporary statement for this season. Architectural shapes add definition and modernity to otherwise understated pieces. The more sculptural your silhouette, the better. Take inspiration from Emanuel Ungaro’s exaggerated necklines.
Maxi lengths always make a strong appearance in spring/summer, and this season is no different. But at this year’s shows, an ankle- grazing skirt was the most popular cut on the catwalks. For an easy summer look, choose a Chloe?-esque style skirt that balances fluidity with a flash of ankle – the most petite part of a woman’s leg.
