Lauren Conrad Is Now a Fully Fledged NYFW Designer

Lauren Conrad, a.k.a. our reality TV bestie, has properly flown her Laguna Beach nest with the??launch of her very first runway show in New York last night.

The N.Y. Fashion Week opened with Conrad’s presentation of her Kohl line and if you’ve seen her website and Instagram, this is?the clothing equivalent. She’s a wake-up-and-smell-the-freshly-cut-flowers through my rose-tinted life type of person, even her models are smiling.

With dusty pinks, soft embellishments and some edgy pieces thrown in the mix, the entire collection is intended to be wearable and we’re already looking at that teal faux suede jacket, red velvet skater skirt and embroidered swing coat. It’s never too early to get planning your spring wardrobe after all.

You can check out the entire show and shop the entire collection?here but we’ve picked out some of our favourite looks.

We may have undestimated Conrad’s business brain. Her entire show?was streamed online and every item was made available immediately after the show, right down to bags, shoes and jewellery and the event coordinated perfectly with her Cosmopolitan cover which alos dropped yesterday. She made have had a rollercoaster life on?The Hills but she’s turning into a fashion tycoon who knows how to capitalise on the moment. Remember when she was asked that demeaning?question “what’s your favourite position?” and she responded immediately with “CEO”.

Yeah, like a boss.

There were plenty of celebrities and fashion bloggers attending as well, Lo Bosworth was there to support her long-time bestie, as well as Amber Fillerup Clarke, Olivia Culpo, Chrissy Teigen, Aimee Song and Ashley Tisdale all sitting front row.
