Created by Barbados-native Rihanna, the Fenty Beauty range embraces diversity. “[It] was created for everyone,” she said. “For women of all ages, all sizes, all skin tones, all religions, all cultures; I want women to feel included”.
Now aged 31, Rihanna felt there was a void in the industry – one she knew she could fill by catering to women of all backgrounds. She is 100% involved in the creation process; focusing on a wide range of traditionally hard-to-match skin tones; creating formulas that work for all skin types, and pinpointing universal shades.
Fenty Beauty products are designed to feel lightweight, yet still deliver buildable coverage. The foundation is designed to “make skin look like skin”, no matter what level of coverage you choose.
Most importantly, Rihanna says it’s designed to inspire, saying, “Make-up is there for you to have fun with. It should never feel like pressure. It should never feel like a uniform… Feel free to take chances, take risks, and dare to do something new or different,” she says.
Fenty launched in September 2017, but it’s been difficult for shoppers to get their hands on – that is, until now.
Fenty Beauty is now available on Boots.ie and in-store at Boots Blanchardstown. What’s more, customers who order online before noon can collect their products the next day at their local Boots store.
