Is your hair in need of some TLC? The 15th annual IMAGE Beauty Awards supplement lists the best beauty launches of the last year, in partnership with Boots. The awards are independently judged by Ireland’s leading doctors, dermatologists, beauty professionals, make-up artists, hair experts and influencers.

IMAGE contributing editor Melanie Morris says, “I hope we’ve included some familiar favourites here, along with some future heroes you’ll consider valuable new additions to your beauty bag. We’ve also made sure to pick up plenty of insider pro tips from our expert judging panel and have shared the best with you in the IMAGE Beauty Awards supplement.”

Check out the seven winning hair treatments chosen by David Cashman, art director at Reds hair salon; Darren Kennedy, TV presenter and writer; Michael Leong, freelance hairstylist at michaelleong.com; and Sharon Sheehan, artistic director at AC Pure.

Pureology Strengthcure Superfood Treatment Mask, €31

“For hair that needs protein; coloured, weak hair; or breakage; leave this on for ten minutes on wet hair for shiny, sealed ends and noticeably treated hair.”
– Sharon Sheehan

Kerastase Aura Botanica Concentre Essential Aromatic Nourishing Oil, €57

“If you have dry, unmanageable hair or you’re taming a curl, this will sort out frizz and leave the hair feeling amazing.”
– Sharon Sheehan

Luna by Lisa Jordan Miracle Hair Treatment , €16

“This is really good on extensions. It made it really easy to comb through – it’s really glideable through the hair.”
– Sharon Sheehan

Aveda Invati Advanced Scalp Revitaliser, €59

“This makes the hair instantly fuller, like you just put in dry shampoo; the scalp is revitalised and it stimulates the scalp for hair growth too.”
– Michael Leong

Phyto Phytoelixir Subtle Oil, €31

“This is really great for hair density and made hair a lot less frizzy. It’s great for shine and absorbed into the hair really well. It’s good for coarse, sensitized or damaged hair.”
– David Cashman Davines

The Circle Chronicles Renaissance Mask, €9.20

“This really left a glossy feel to the hair, with no residue.”
– David Cashman

Joico Blonde Life Mask, €23.50

“This removes residue and yellowing, brassy tones; it really does the trick. It’s an intense treatment and makes highlights feel shimmery, with a pearlescent look to them. It doesn’t feel heavy in the hair either.”
– Michael Leong
