Winter Wedding Place Settings Your Guests Will Adore

The key to decorating a winter wedding is to keep it seasonal. Opt for a palette of crisp white mixed with a darker hue (a rich burgundy or midnight blue is ideal) and offset with gold crockery and stacks of plates – two to three layers work best and choose contrasting textures or colour ways for added interest. I love the triple stack of ceramic plates below in off-white and deep navy. You can soften the look with tall, skinny candles displayed at different heights and add a little character with foliage – how beautiful is the vase of bare branches dotted with three individual roses?Classy. But remember: stick to your chosen colour palette. Finish with a personalised name card or messege in your own handwriting. Smart.
