Hoping to kick back at the movies tomorrow? We round up the new releases for Valentine’s celebrants and the rest of the populace.

Endless Love

The Drama Queen: A remake of the 1980s first-love drama where rich girl Gabriella Wilde falls for the charismatic Alex Pettyfer. Her parents aren’t happy after a bit of background digging and then all dramatically soundtracked hell breaks loose as these young lovers fight to stay together.

That Awkward Moment

The Romantic Comedy: Zac Efron plays a lad with commitment issues who just might be falling in love with the luminescent? Imogen Poots. Also worth a gander for Miles Teller, a young actor who wowed in the understated romantic drama The Spectacular Now and walked away with all last month’s Sundance for his performance as a struggling musician in Whiplash.

Her

The Deep Thinker/Hipster: Spike Jonze directs Joaquin Phoenix in this very futuristic romantic drama – if you can call a man falling in love with his computer’s operating system romantic.

The Lego Movie

The Child: Maybe you had childhood dreams to be an engineer? Maybe you figure if you agree to see this with the fella he owes you for the foreseeable future?

Dallas Buyers Club

The Lets-Forget-What-Day-This-Is: Want to opt out of the Hallmark festivities and watch Matthew McC and Jared Leto nail every award going? Well then this drama about the AIDs epidemic in 1980s Texas is your only choice.
