Kim And Kanye West Have Named Their New Baby

?Just because it’s Saturday, and just because we thought you’d like to roll your eyes at a bit of lighthearted info (well, this made us laugh), reports are a flurry that Mr and Mrs West have already chosen a name for their as yet unborn son, and it’s a strange one, to say the least.

?The MailOnline reports that while it’s not as bad as South West (we think it’s pretty close though), the name is similar in a directorial sense, even though Kim has gone on record twice to deny the South West rumor.

The reality star told NPR after she revealed that she was pregnant with baby number two: ?I don’t like South West, though, because that’s like, you know, North will always, you know, be better and be more…she has a better direction.?

?She went on to affirm this on another radio show: ?Why just add another direction? North is the best. I don’t want to try to duplicate that with a lower direction, you know?? But, in a way she has done this, as the name they have chosen is, Easton.

No, you’re not reading that wrong. Easton West. Dear God, we almost feel for the kid if he gets lumbered with that. It’s not that it’s that bad a name, it’s just why do they have to name both their children after a direction? We’re all for opting for names a little different, but we’re not sure about this.

??Easton is the chosen name. It’s confirmed that the baby boy will be called Easton,’ a close family friend has said. The family friend confirmed that last week, the celebrity pair locked in the name ‘Easton’ so that his nursery and wardrobe can begin to be made.

?Kourtney told a few girls at a Hidden Hills pool party last weekend that Kayne’s favorite name by far is ‘Easton’, a name Kim wasn’t hot on at first because Kanye liked simply ‘East,’ ‘but Kim came up with Easton and, for them, history was made,? the source added.

While we’re not sure if this will actually end up their namesake of choice (Kim isn’t due for a few months yet), it wouldn’t be a surprise if they went with this.

What do you think of the name choice?
