This Instagram Account Captures Our Random Office Conversations Perfectly

Let it be said that the office workspace is an interesting, dynamic and often odd place that the majority of us find ourselves in every week. Even if you’re not destined to be BFF’s with your co-workers, you spend the bulk?of your time with them, so they will know you almost better than anyone else. United by shared goals to meet deadlines and targets?(or, as it’s January, to just get the through the 9-5 grind each day), we frequently reveal our innermost thoughts with fellow employees; and it’s often this work banter and the bit of craic that make a stressful day that bit more bearable. Lunchtime musings are favoured by all,?as is the daily dose of TV/movie conversations that we’re all privy to as we anxiously await the first payday of the new year – it’s dark, cold, wet and we’re broke, so of course we’re spending our evenings with Netflix.

And who could forget the delightfully random office discussions? Only in the workplace will you hear snippets that will never be heard outside the four walls of your job, but?that will remain in your head forevermore. They are witty, insightful and wonderfully weird, and two designers who work in an unknown ‘scientific’ office noticed these unique?chats and decided to share them on Instagram for our viewing pleasure.

The anonymous pair listens out for witty quotes from their colleagues, illustrate icons to capture them and then post them to their account Office Overheard. Some of the posts are absolute gems, and we’ve shared a selection below for you to giggle at or share with your work buddies over your AM coffee tomorrow. Are you guilty of coming out with any of these?
